Formed in 2010, the Office of Health Reform Integration represents a dedicated team focused on the integration of health reform and its impact upon, as well as the opportunities for, our Company.
To be the thought leaders for analysis, education and communication on the changes and opportunities of health reform for our stakeholders and partners.
To ensure our members and providers, investors and analysts, policymakers and government leaders, employees and valued community partners have access to simple and meaningful tools to understand and integrate health reform. By advancing understanding and the constructive discussion of health reform, the Office of Health Reform Integration will continue in our company’s tradition of providing real, community-focused and innovative solutions to today’s modern health care challenges.
Our work addresses three priorities areas:
■ Inform. Direct a three-pronged approach to understanding health reform through assessment, education and information management, both within the Company and through external outreach to investors and analysts, policymakers and government leaders, individuals and our community partners.
■ Engage. Participate constructively by fostering thoughtful discussion and advancing sound feedback throughout the rulemaking, regulatory and other interactive processes that govern the successful implementation of health reform in Washington, D.C., and state capitols across the nation.
■ Plan. Advise on the incorporation and, ultimately, implementation of health care reform’s functional changes, requirements and opportunities through detailed business analysis and preparation.
